Performance 

The BYD Dolphin's advanced electric drivetrain produces exceptional performance. With a torque of 180 Nm and a 70 kW motor, the Dolphin can accelerate quickly from 0 to 100 km/h in just 12.3 seconds. It is ideal for both everyday commuting and longer travels thanks to its 44.9 kWh BYD Blade Battery, which guarantees a practical driving range of up to 340 km on the WLTP cycle. The quick charging capabilities of the Dolphin enhance its effective operation; a 60 kW DC charger can replenish the battery from 20% to 80% in roughly 42 minutes, but a 7 kW AC charger requires roughly 4-5 hours to fully charge. 

Dimension, Suspensions and Wheels

The BYD Dolphin is an electric vehicle that is both adaptable and adaptable due to its modest proportions. Its dimensions of 4290 mm in length, 1770 mm in width, and 1570 mm in height achieve a compromise between roominess and maneuverability. With a 2700 mm wheelbase, it offers a sturdy foundation for a comfortable ride. The front suspension of the Dolphin is a Macpherson Strut, and the rear suspension is a Torsion Beam. These components combine to provide a smooth and controlled driving experience. While the rear suspension offers comfort and stability, the front suspension's design guarantees responsive handling. To improve safety and control during braking, the Dolphin is equipped with disc brakes on the back and ventilated disc brakes on the front. Its 175 mm of ground clearance keeps its center of gravity low for better handling while guaranteeing sufficient protection.

Interior and Comfort 

Every journey is made more pleasurable by the interior design of the BYD Dolphin, which combines comfort and convenience. The 12.8-inch intelligent turning touch panel, which functions as the entertainment and navigation center, is the focal point of the cabin's modern, ergonomic design. A three-spoke steering wheel with electric power assistance is part of the cabin, which is decorated with synthetic leather. A 5-inch digital instrument display is helpful for the driver, and the headrests in the back seats may be adjusted in height for more comfort. With six manual adjustment settings for the driver's seat and four manual adjustments for the front passenger seat, the Dolphin can comfortably seat up to five adults.
