Vehicle Description
The Tunland G7 features an assertive front fascia that begins with a blacked-out hexagonal grille, centrally adorned with the striking Foton logo. Flanking the grille are rectangular halogen headlamps, delivering clear illumination and presence. The front bumper houses a sub-grille layout and fog lamps with chrome-accented brackets and integrated LED strips, enhancing both aesthetics and safety.
The sides boast muscular wheel arches that accommodate 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels, depending on the variant. With options for single-cab and double-cab configurations, the G7 suits both professional and family needs—offering seating for two or up to five passengers respectively.
The fuel tank is strategically positioned behind the cab, just above the rear wheel arch. Its extended 3110 mm wheelbase provides a grounded, stable stance while also supporting a large cargo bed, contributing to its impressive 5340 mm overall length.
At the rear, the cargo bed is the centerpiece—measuring 1520 mm (L) x 1580 mm (W) x 440 mm (H), offering a total volume of 1042 liters. The tailgate proudly carries the “Foton†logo, complemented by vertically-stacked LED taillights that echo the front's strong design cues.
The Tunland G7 is available in a range of exterior colors, including Black, Red, Blue, Silver, and White, letting you match your truck to your personal or professional brand.
Interior: Premium Comfort Meets Practicality
Inside, the Tunland G7 adopts an aviation-inspired cockpit layout, placing the driver in command with modern tech and ergonomic comfort. Trim levels determine seat upholstery—ranging from durable fabric to premium leatherette. The top-spec variant features heated and ventilated front seats, while the driver enjoys a 12-way power-adjustable seat, and the front passenger benefits from a 4-way power adjustment. Lower trims include manual seat configurations.
At the heart of the dashboard lies a dual 12.3-inch digital interface—one for the Infotainment System and another for the Digital Instrument Cluster, keeping all essential information within easy view.
Additional features include:
- 6-speaker audio system
- Sunroof
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- Ambient lighting
- 15 smart storage compartments for enhanced practicality
Performance and Capability
The Tunland G7 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine that produces:
- 162 PS of max power at 4000 rpm
- 390 Nm of peak torque between 1800–2600 rpm
This powerplant is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic gearbox, with paddle shifters available for more engaging control in the automatic variant. Fuel efficiency is respectable, with a claimed mileage of 13.3 km/l and a large 80-liter fuel tank for extended range.
Drive Modes and 4WD Technology
The G7’s top-trim variants are equipped with a BorgWarner Electronic Part-Time 4WD system, offering driver-selectable terrain response for ultimate versatility:
- 2H (Two-Wheel Drive, High Range) – For regular, fuel-efficient urban driving
- AUTO – Intelligent power distribution based on traction needs
- 4H (Four-Wheel Drive, High Range) – For loose, slippery surfaces
- 4L (Four-Wheel Drive, Low Range) – For demanding off-road conditions
In addition, ECO and Sport Modes allow the driver to switch between relaxed efficiency and aggressive performance, adapting seamlessly to the environment.
