iCaur V27

The iCaur V27 is an all-round range-extended electric SUV (REEV) with a classic boxy shape, retro round headlights with "Star Ring" light clusters, flared fenders, fixed side steps and 21-inch wheels. iCaur Nepal, the official importer, has listed it on its website, but the Nepal launch date and price have not been announced yet, so the price is TBD. The specifications below come from iCaur Nepal and may change for the Nepal-spec car.

Powertrain

A range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) is driven by electric motors, with a petrol engine that acts as a generator to recharge the battery, so there is much less range anxiety than in a pure EV. The V27 uses the "Golden REEV" system with a combined motor power of 335 kW (150 kW front plus 185 kW rear) and 505 Nm of torque (200 Nm front plus 305 Nm rear). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, runs quietly (below 61 dB) and has 45.79% thermal efficiency. The battery is a CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack.

Off-road ability and safety

The V27 has a 24 degree approach angle, 23 degree departure angle and 600 mm wading depth. Its high-strength cage body has a torsional stiffness of 32,186 N·m/deg, and iCaur says it meets five-star safety standards (E-NCAP, C-NCAP, A-NCAP and ASEAN NCAP).

Comfort

Features include dual-zone seat ventilation and heating, a fully reclining driver's seat, ambient lighting, an electric soft-close tailgate and a replaceable fragrance diffuser.
