Performance
The Jaecoo J5 Pro is powered by a single permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 155 kW and 288 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.
Battery and Range
The J5 Pro uses a 50.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a driving range of 405 km. It supports DC fast charging at 130 kW (about 28 minutes) and AC charging at 6.6 kW.
Dimensions and Chassis
The J5 Pro measures 4,380 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height on a 2,620 mm wheelbase, with 185 mm of ground clearance, a 20-degree approach angle and a 29.8-degree departure angle. Boot space is 480 litres. It has ventilated front disc brakes, rear disc brakes, multi-link rear suspension and 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels.
Features
Inside, the J5 Pro has a 15.6-inch central screen, a 9.2-inch instrument cluster, an 8-speaker Pioneer audio system, offline voice control and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Other features include a panoramic glass roof with electric sunshade, a power tailgate, two-zone air conditioning with a PM2.5 filter, keyless entry, driver seat heating, passenger seat ventilation, a 60:40 split-folding rear seat and multi-colour ambient lighting.
Safety
The J5 Pro comes with ABS, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, an electronic parking brake, auto hold and roll stability control. Its driver assistance functions include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and traffic jam assist.
