The diesel unit in this HTK Plus (DSL) variant of the Seltos is 1.5 litre T-GRDi VGT. It churns out a power of 114.41 bhp at 4000 rpm with a peak torque of 250 Nm between 1500-2750 rpm. In line, the mill comes mated to a 6-speed smooth-shifting automatic gearbox, offering a peppy drive. Besides this, it comes with 2WD configuration, excellent traction, and handling that make it suitable for city drives and highways, and is truly efficient with a claimed fuel economy of 20.7 kmpl (ARAI) to undertake longer journeys with fewer stops at the fuel station.

Dimension, Suspensions and Wheels 

The exterior of the Kia Seltos HTK Plus (DSL) has balanced proportions; the length, width, and height are 4365 mm, 1800 mm, and 1645 mm, respectively, while the wheelbase is 2610 mm for ample cabin space and excellent road stability. The suspension system of the SUV consists of a McPherson Strut in the front and a Coupled Torsion Beam Axle (CTBA) at the rear for comfortable and smooth rides on most terrains. All motors come equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels clad in 215/60 R17 radial tubeless tires.

Interior and Comfort

The interior of the Kia Seltos HTK Plus features a combination of components that will provide a luxurious and comfortable journey for the occupants inside. Its smart 10.25-inch digital cluster forms an exquisite combination with the technologically advanced dashboard, while leatherette upholstery gives it a nice tinge. It features ventilated seats at the front, along with automatic climate control and electrically adjustable seats at both the front and the back. Other feature provisions that are useful include rear AC vents, cruise control, keyless entry, and an engine start/stop button. Other convenience features include front and rear parking sensors, a storage central console armrest, and several USB chargers for convenience of all occupants.

Safety Features 

The Kia Seltos HTK Plus (DSL) has a long list of safety features to keep its occupants safe on every drive. It boasts 6 airbags, such as drivers, passengers, and curtain airbags, which give maximum safety in case of a collision. It comes with an Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution that assists improved braking while Cornering with Electronic Stability Control that enhances the stability of the vehicle. Further reinforcement for safety includes Hill Assist, TPMS, and ISOFIX child seat mounts for secure installation of a child's safety seat. Other features include rear camera with guidelines, speed sensing auto door lock and pretensioners with force limiters for the front seats.
