Performance
The Omoda E5 Dual Tone is powered by a single front-mounted electric motor that produces 99 kW and 288 Nm of torque and drives the front wheels through an automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and has a top speed of 171 km/h, with Eco, Normal and Sport drive modes.
Battery and Range
The Omoda E5 Dual Tone uses a 58.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a WLTP range of 430 km. AC charging is rated at 6.6 kW and DC fast charging at 110 kW. A 3.3 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) function lets you power external devices from the battery.
Dimensions and Chassis
The Omoda E5 Dual Tone measures 4,545 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width and 1,588 mm in height on a 2,630 mm wheelbase, with 191 mm of ground clearance and a 5.4 m turning radius. Boot space is 442 litres and the rear seat folds 60:40. It has McPherson strut front and multi-link independent rear suspension, ventilated front disc brakes, rear disc brakes and 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels.
Exterior and Interior Features
Outside, the Omoda E5 Dual Tone has LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, electrically folding mirrors, a rear spoiler, a shark fin antenna and a sunroof. Inside, it has a 15.6-inch central screen, an 8.88-inch instrument cluster, an 8-speaker audio system, a 50 W wireless charger and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The driver seat is 6-way electrically adjustable with ventilation, lumbar support and a massage function, and the front passenger seat has 4-way electric adjustment and ventilation. Other features include multi-colour ambient lighting, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, an electric tailgate and acoustic front glass.
Safety
The Omoda E5 Dual Tone comes with ABS, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, electronic stability program, traction control, hill-start assist, tyre pressure monitoring and auto brake hold. It has front, side and curtain airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, front and rear parking sensors and a 540-degree panoramic view camera. It also offers 19 ADAS (advanced driver assistance) functions, including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection, door open warning and rear cross traffic alert.
